ADOS-2 Autism Assessments (Occupational Therapy)

Little People Therapies offers Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2) assessments as part of our Occupational Therapy services.

The ADOS-2 is a well-recognised, play-based assessment that supports understanding of autism-related characteristics across communication, social interaction, play, and behaviour.

ADOS-2 assessments are conducted by trained Occupational Therapists and form an important part of a child’s assessment journey. While the ADOS-2 does not provide a diagnosis on its own, the information gathered contributes meaningful evidence to a broader diagnostic process.

For families seeking a formal diagnosis, ADOS-2 results are typically shared with a paediatrician, psychiatrist, or psychologist, who considers these findings alongside developmental history and other assessments.

ADOS-2 Fees

• $210 per hour
• Private billing only

ADOS-2 Assessment Components

Vanderbilt ADHD Behavioural Assessment (Occupational Therapy)

Little People Therapies offers the Vanderbilt ADHD Behavioural Assessment to support understanding of a child’s attention, activity levels, emotional regulation, and behaviour across home and school environments.

The Vanderbilt Assessment uses standardised questionnaires completed by parents and teachers and is interpreted by a trained Occupational Therapist. It provides valuable insight into how a child functions across everyday settings.

While the Vanderbilt Assessment does not provide a diagnosis on its own, the information gathered supports next steps in care and is commonly shared with a paediatrician, psychiatrist, or psychologist as part of a broader diagnostic process.

Vanderbilt Fees

• Standalone Vanderbilt Assessment (New client): $790 (flat fee)
• Vanderbilt assessment as an add-on to an ADOS-2 assessment: $490 (flat fee)

This service is provided on a private fee basis only.
