NDIS Therapy Fees

Little People Therapies charges in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Pricing Limits:

• Occupational Therapy & Early Childhood Specialists: $193.99 per hour
• Dietetics: $188.99 per hour
• Allied Health Assistants (AHA): $86.79 per hour

Therapy Session Structure (Face to Face)

A standard therapy session includes 1 hour of face-to-face clinical time with the child and their caregivers.

This may include:

• Direct therapeutic intervention with the child
• Observation and assessment
• Parent or caregiver coaching
• Feedback and discussion of strategies
• Supporting transitions and handover at the end of the session

For many sessions, parent coaching and handover form a regular and essential part of the appointment and may take approximately 15 minutes, depending on the child’s needs.

All time spent with the child and family at the appointment is considered face-to-face clinical time.

Non–Face-to-Face Supports (NDIS)

Many NDIS participants supported by Little People Therapies have complex needs that require additional non–face-to-face clinical work to ensure safe, coordinated, and effective service delivery.

This may include:

• Clinical planning
• Documentation and case notes
• Report writing
• Liaison with families, schools, early childhood services, support coordinators, and other professionals

Where directly related to the participant’s goals and supports, non–face-to-face time may be charged in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Pricing Limits. The amount of non–face-to-face support varies depending on individual complexity and is discussed as part of service planning.

Travel

Travel is charged in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Pricing Limits and may include therapist travel time and non-labour travel costs where applicable.

Cancellations & Attendance

Therapy is most effective when delivered consistently and with minimal interruptions. Families engaging in ongoing therapy services are expected to maintain regular attendance, including during school holidays.

We understand that illness or unexpected circumstances may occur. However, planned or frequent breaks can disrupt progress and reduce the effectiveness of therapy.

In line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Pricing Limits:

• Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failure to attend, will incur the full fee for the allocated service time
• This includes any applicable practitioner travel time
