Stephanie De Zilva
Paediatric Dietician
Steph has over 10 years’ experience working in dietetics. She has worked extensively across FNQ including providing clinical dietetic services to remote Cape York Communities.
Steph is a graduate of Monash University, Melbourne, holding a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics degree, and an Honours Research Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
Steph also holds a Certificate in Clinical Nutrition Paediatrics from the Royal Children’s Hospital in 2014 and a Certificate in Clinical Paediatrics from the Dietitians Association in 2018.
Her areas of specialisation include: long term tube feeding in children and infants, feeding children with neurodisabilities, extreme fussy eating and restrictive food preferences.
Steph is passionate about working with families and children to create positive mealtimes and healthy growing children to reach their full potential. She takes a collaborative approach with her patients, providing tailored dietary advice and support that is practical and achievable.
In her free time, Stephanie is a lover of good food and exploring new local eat-out spots. She is a mother to one baby and two fur babies, and she has a secret love for making wonky pottery.
