Lisa Seymour

Early Childhood Development Specialist

For over 30 years Lisa has been committed to early childhood in teaching, early intervention and therapy provision.  

She has worked extensively across Queensland, including in remote regional communities, with children and families in homes, schools, kindergartens, community and childcare environments.

Lisa is dedicated to and experienced in working with neurodivergent children with additional support needs.

Lisa’s qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood
  • Forest School Leader (Level 3)
  • Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services
  • Diploma in Children’s Services
  • Certificate 3 in Children’s Services
  • Associate Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Associate Diploma of Art

Lisa studies children’s creative writing in her spare time.

Lisa holds a deep belief that every child has the right and ability to thrive. She works from a strengths-based approach with a focus on children’s social and emotional well-being and learning through play-based approaches.

In her leisure time Lisa enjoys nature conservation, and spending time with her family and friends in the beautiful outdoor of Far North Queensland.
