Fees and Terms

Standard therapy appointments at the clinic, telehealth, and mobile appointments include:

• 45 minutes individual 1:1 therapy session
• 30 mins session planning, session notes, correspondence and collaboration with families, educators, or other stakeholders
• Travel fees apply to all mobile services.

Medicare Rebates:

Medicare rebates are available for Occupational Therapy and Dietetics services if you have a valid Chronic Disease Management Plan (previously known as an Enhanced Primary Care or EPC plan) and a referral from your GP.

Following your appointment, you will receive a detailed receipt which you can submit to Medicare to claim your eligible rebate.

If you’re unsure about your eligibility, please speak with your GP.

Private Health Insurance Rebates:

You may be eligible for a rebate from your private health insurer for Occupational Therapy and Dietetics. You will be provided with a receipt after payment which you will need to lodge with your insurer.  Please contact your private health fund directly to discuss eligibility.

Cancellation Policy:

Therapy is most effective when it occurs consistently and with minimal interruptions. Continuity of care is essential for achieving positive outcomes, particularly for children. Frequent cancellations can impact your child’s progress, delay therapy goals, and reduce access to services for other families.

LPT follows the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Pricing Limits. If an appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or if there is a failure to attend, the full fee for the allocated service time will be charged. This includes any practitioner travel time, where applicable
